Adventure tour operator PortJet has acquired Port Macquarie Cruise Adventures to offer the most comprehensive range of water-based activities in the region.
“The two businesses complement each other perfectly,” PortJet owner Anthony Heeney said.
“Now we are able to offer the full range of water-based activities including jet ski hire, thrill rides on our Wave Rider, whale watching and river cruises including the ever-popular sunset cruises.
“We will also continue to offer charters for events and parties.”
The acquisition became effective on Friday, 2 June. Initially, the tours will operate as usual. “We have some big changes planned but that’s a little way off yet,” Mr Heeney said.
He also assured customers that all pre-sold tickets and gift vouchers on Cruise Adventures tours would be honoured following the change-over.
